Alan Berg

Alan opened Arts + Labor in 2004 and serves primarily as lead project manager but is also a director. His most recent film, Outside Industry, premiered at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival. Alan's work has also screened at The Cannes International Film Festival, The Los Angeles Film Festival and The Chicago International Movies and Music Festival. His last two documentaries have been nationally distributed by PBS. Alan recently directed two half-hour weather science documentaries for The Weather Channel, including the network’s Earth Day Special Report on Global Warming. This won the prestigious 2008 New York Festivals Award for Cable Programming. Alan is on the faculty at the University of Texas School of Journalism.
